Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was five, she moved from London to Oxfordshire to attend the Dragon School. Emma was just six when she realized she wanted to be an actor. She studied for a number of years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting as well as singing. Through a school play as well as a Stagecoach production, Emma was as the lead role at age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is the film from 2001 adaption of J.K. Rowling's bestselling book was cast in 1999. Casting agents discovered Emma by way of her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after having 8 consecutive auditions. Emma's first cinematic appearance was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. The highest-grossing movie of 2001 it set new records in its first day revenue as well as the opening weekend's earnings. Critics have praised both the film as well as the performance of the three main young actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma later won five awards in recognition of her work in the film.
